Photo Frame

This contemporary photo frame looks simpler than it is to make. Both options involve Mortice & Tenon Joinery. Option 1 contains two single Mortice & Tenon Joints, while option 2 contains two double Mortice & Tenon Joints. Both are identical to look at from above, the difference can only be seen when the frames are picked up. This prevents students making the simpler version feeling alienated.

The thickness of the groove that holds the perspex sheets and photo(s) can easily be altered to suit the perspex available in schools.
