Candle Holder

This candle holder is a simple yet functional item that students can produce and bring home to their parents knowing that it will be used. It can be left on a bedside table, mantle piece, or any other flat surface, or it can be wall mounted by the hole in the back piece. There is a hole drilled through the bottom of the piece to allow you to remove the spent tea light container from below. This project is little more complex than a practice joint, but is an actual useful item. Creating useful items as opposed to practice joints helps to reinforce the importance of woodwork in student’s minds by showing them that their work has a tangiable value.

Congrats on the website.
The project ideas are great and incorporate a few nice skills.
Particularly like the idea of 2 different skill options with each project.
Well done.
